eCOGRA has been active in the online gambling and online poker scene for more than six years by now. It will use the experience it gained in these sectors, to raise the standards for operational excellence and fair play in the online bingo, sports betting and live gaming sectors.

Setting the Standards
eCOGRA is a London-based non-profit watchdog for the online gambling industry in the broadest sense of the word. It first of all seeks to establish a collection of standards which it believes the particular sector of the gambling industry should satisfy. Subsequently it examines and monitors the companies in the market in order to verify whether they answer the standards. The companies that are found to comply with the desired standards, receive the eCOGRA Safe and Fair Seal so that customers can immediately recognize the company for its excellence.

Gained Experience
Having provided this service for more than six years for the online poker and online casino sector, eCOGRA now is ready to expand. The years of operating in the above mentioned sectors have displayed a huge progress in the quality, operational performance, and fairness and responsible gambling practices. The cumulative experience gained in these sectors, will now be put to good use in the online bingo, live gaming, and sports betting sectors.

CEO Andrew Beveridge is looking forward to this: "We have now introduced our new eGAP Minimum Requirements covering all operational aspects for online bingo and sportsbetting operations."

Brand Awareness
Since the beginning of eCOGRA the organization has accredited over 120 online casinos and poker rooms around the world with its famous Safe and Fair Seal. We are happy to see that eCOGRA can now use its brand and certificate awareness to inform and protect more players in a wider variety of gambling and gaming sectors.
