Software & Graphics

English Harbour runs on software from Vegas Technologies, which is fast and stable. The initial download is a fairly large 3.1 MB and the installation takes a couple of minutes. Following that, the simple registration page took me less than a minute to complete and I was soon hitting the tables.

The lobby has a nice feel to it and is laid out like the inside of a glamorous Vegas-style casino. It's easy to navigate your way around and to find the games you want, although an option to go straight to your most recently played games would have been nice.

The in-game graphics could do with an overhaul, as they seem a bit dated. If you like modern top quality graphics then you might need to look elsewhere, but fans of the retro look will be perfectly happy. The games run very smoothly, which, for me, is more important than how they look.
